When the 1130 monitor boots up it acts as if it processed a // JOB card and prints a header page, then goes to the primary input device (card reader) and waits to read in jobs. I booted up the system today, now that the 1132 printer is through its restoration, and saw that header appear on the paper.

I finished wiring all the signal lines to the boards and installed power connectors. I also worked on a new mounting method.
Congratulations! Carl! This is sort of a big moment in the life of your 1130 I presume!
ReplyDeleteCarl, Can you record the sound of the disk drive booting and when you press Int Req?
ReplyDeleteHuge milestone! Glad to hear you got it all sorted out.
ReplyDeleteThank you all. I am quite pleased about it.
ReplyDeleteBob, I will put this on the task list and should get it done within the week. I will post a video that includes the sound of the disk during boot and then in response to interrupt request.
Thank you!!
