Since I know the format of the disk images, based on the floppy drives to which they are inserted, I was able to separate the 2,400 sectors of 512 characters and inspect them. I wrote a program that displays the hex values of each character in groups of 16 and puts the EBCDIC characters to the right of the line. This looks a lot like the familiar dumps of the IBM mainframe environment.
