INSTALLED IN 1130 AND POWERED UP - NO ERRONEOUS LAMPS LIT
A bit of wire wrap on the board restored the connection for the ground pins D04 and D05 of the failed 3819 card. There appears to be connectivity to all the required pins.
I put the card back in position D5 of compartment C1 of gate A. This card controls the following:
- Parity lamp
- File Ready lamp
- KB Select lamp
- restore solenoid on the keyboard
- Forms Check lamp
- Run lamp
Nothing was lit, however this isn't a completely good situation. The Forms Check lamp should be shining brightly since there is no paper in the console printer (typewriter). Each time I push the Prog Start to execute an instruction, the Run lamp should light.
It is possible that these two bulbs were burned out since the errors I noticed and was troubleshooting initially was the spurious KB Select and Parity lights. I will check further on this when I get back to the shop.
